Okay well i am just starting C. And was wondering if you guys have any good practice idea's or excercises or something.

Well the typical first project here seems to be calculators. But, take it up a notch by not doing it in a console, but instead, make a dialog to handle everything so it's visual.
Think of other things on that line that aren't too major.
Such as:
- Temperature converter.
- Units of measurement converters.
- Hash generators (MD5, etc.)
and so on.

Also, I find a good thing to make for practice, is mathematical calculators. I mean, not like an average windows calculator, more like... oh... i dunno... a Pythagoras calculator, or a pi one to work out the area/circumference of circles, or even one to work out the lengths of sides of triangles using sin/cos/tan.
