WTF? It's ok but..
could you please search a bit or at least researh about the info you gain before posting about something you have no idea? You're basically spammingwithout knowing.
Anyhow, with a webbrowser component (At VB6.0 you will have to include it so Project > Components > Microsoft Internet Components, which use ieframe.dll as you can see... [ At VB.net you have it as a default component]) you can load a html website just like if you where using IExplorer.
Code?
well, just add the component and then, lest says you wants to load google.com on the form when the program runs.
VB 6.0
| Code: | Private Sub Form_Load()
webbrowser1.navigate("www.google.com")
End Sub |
VB.Net
| Code: | Public Class Form1
Private Sub Form1_Load(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles MyBase.Load
webbrowser1.navigate("www.google.com")
End Sub
End Class |
You can also make it so it can go back, forward, toolbars, tittles, progress, etc.. but, only if you need that, then SEARCH! is'nt nothing out of this world making a web browser AKA html loader.

instead of flaming you could have said:
this is the code:
| Code: | Private Sub Form_Load()
webbrowser1.navigate("www.google.com")
End Sub |
would be enough
but thanks

If you need help with common VB6 applications - check out PSCode.com, change the language filter to Visual Basic, then type something related to what you need. E.g. "web browser". The result generally returns what you need.
You may be new to VB6, but ActiveX controls are a basic component of the IDE, atleast try google before you request help here - why ask something that's already been answered?
mas8rx8: you should treat other members with respect, especially since you're new - you don't want a bad reputation with other members do you?
same with you 92Garfield, I know you've been here a lot longer, but be a bit more mature.
Either way I'm just offering my advice, it's up to the mods if any rule enforcing is to be done. So don't take any offense to what I said.

Read up on resources with Visual Basic, specifically reading a text file or custom resource. You can save the page, URL, etc. inside the resource file and load it at runtime. If it is a website URL you can use a string resource and load the string at runtime and navigate a browser inside your project when it loads. If it's a website you can extract the HTML file at runtime and navigate to it as well.
Google around for 'VB6 Resource Files' if you need more help with them. They aren't hard to use, but I suggest looking into using a different resource editor because VB6's default editor sucks.

or MSDN
Go learn english please. |
Firstly, don't insult people for not knowing the same language as you. This world is not English driven. People are free to speak the language of their nation if they choose. As for this forum, yes it is for English users, and he is doing a lot better then most actual English speaking people that post here.
As for your above post, if you are also going to insult someone for their English, why not learn the language yourself as it seems you don't know how to use grammar and correct punctuation. Along with that, you spelled a few things wrong.
'Well, of course I couldn't help you. You're too dumb to use Google. Or MSDN.'
The above would have been more 'proper'.
Anyway, thread closed the original poster got what he needed.
