Hi, in lookinf through some C++ Sourcecode, I keep on coming across a .dll called "user32.dll".

I am wondering if anyone can provide my with an answer to what is is and what it does.

Do I need to have it in the folder or is it a .dll that is a part of windows or something?

from my understanding it calls some of the basic apis e.g. FindWindowA and GetAsyncKeyState, this is a list i found, not sure it this is all of them ,i dont think so: http://www.andreavb.com/API_USER32.html

btw, if your using loadlibrary, if your on a windows computer, you dont need to have it with your program
