i really enjoyed it, but i feel like people talked up the ending/twist too much, i expected something super crazy but it was instead something more realistic

has anyone read the book? and could you tell me if there is any major differences, usually i can tell when something based off of a book skips things or is altered but this movie is pretty straightforward so i cant imagine much was actually changed

Zebra was the ?I dont remember who the other person was, I saw the movie when it came out.

Orangutan was the mother.

He changed the story because it was so depressing and bland.
