I plug in my iPod 2 download songs and sync, but when i plug it in no iTunes open(yes im sure i have it installed) then when I maunally open it, and try 2 sync it says my iPod ain't connected, so any help?

Duh... It doesnt open in the first place, because it does not recognize your iPod... And if you manually open it, it still doesn't recognize it...

See if the iPod is even on in the first place. It should say "DO NOT DISCONNECT"

The Ipod is most likely dead, or frozen. Please specify which Ipod you have.
