DoSed is from a single person i think. DDoSed is when you get multiple people or multiple compromized computers to attack someone.

Script Kiddies DoS. Grown-Ups DDoS.

Then DDoS instead... It actually really isn't. Like the attack on the Scientology websites, that was DDoS, but all those people attacking the site did not have a compromized computer.

bam25 is that the hacker symbol? As to DDoS, its the funniest thing in the world. Technically if you have enough computers you could do it by simply getting them all to connect at the same time, you would not even really need to ping. Thus making it untraceable except for the fact of multiple connections being created at once. Also and form of DoS is idiotic, so I cant connect to CEF, theres other things to do (though I admit I spend a lot of time here) and does not do much more than that. All I can say is thanks for notifying if it was a real threat, while CEF may be down a lot we do not need it to go down for even longer.
