is there any site or digital "book" (maybe a text file where i get a list of all commands for visual basic with a short explaination ?

alphabetic is nice but how is the flash thing (like setvariable, getvariabl...) called?

Type ShockwaveFlash1.
Then you see a whole list of functions and properties
Parameters of the functions also help (The notes that pop up once you type in a parenthesis)

you have to add the Shokwave object in your form, and it has to be named "ShockwaveFlash1.", btw, it might not work, if you copy/paste...

The object you are referring to is not part of Visual Basic itself. You will have to check the creators website, manual, etc. for any reference towards the object in question.

As others have said though, VB does use intellisense, as long as the object is included into the project and is declared or added to a form, you should be able to check the list of functions that are usable via adding a ' . ' after the object name.
