Hi everyone really getting into CE, now I can do all my editing in CE and edit the values i need and make CT's ok but now what I want to do Is make myself a trainer so it prob easier if i explain what im trying to do.
The game im trying to hack is called Bloodwych which is a old game and also multi platform Its Dos,Atari ST & Amiga these are the versions im interested in.
The Dos (ntvdm) and Atari ST (steem) versions are easy to do as the memory locations are always the same but when editing in WinUAE and Bloodwych the memory locations change so does anyone know how i get round this as its not like I can find a pointer when its inside a emulator.
My next question is, is it possible to use VB2008 to make the trainer as i need multi forms as theres a lot of data/character you can edit so do I need a add on to make Peek and Poke work in VB2008?
I'll prob be asking more questions too soon like how to I make the VB app choose which address's to use for which version of the game but any help anyone could give would be very welcome, I've search around the forum but can only seem to find stuff on Delphi or VB6.
If you want to check out the game for yourself take a look at my website

Well, I'm not sure about making a trainer with VB8 but why can't you use VB6 or Delphi? Just wondering.
As for the changing values, there's almost nothing you can do to stop that, (I say almost because there's nothing I know of.)

There isn't really any reason why i couldn't use either of them its just I have already installed VB2008 and i just thought a new version might be nicer than an older version.
As for the problem with the changing memory location is it possible to search for a lis of known values inside the trainer then set that as the start location?
Will this allow me to do what i need?
//pinvoke dot net/default.aspx/kernel32.WriteProcessMemory
