|
|
Currently working on for v.2.0:
(x)-Changeable buttons
()-Scroll list of a bunch of applications
()-Being able locate to a directory, and not just an App
()-Being able to go to a URL on a desired browser
()-Being able to go to your email, myspace, facebook, etc
(x)-Checkboxes for telling the user if the app is already running
()-Customized Icons - If anyone can supply me with some I will add credits
()-Windows Startup
()-Windows Tray Icon
-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~
Alright, I think I am on to something here...
I am going to be adding so much improvement onto this.
If you would like to help me out with this, that would be nice.
-----------------------
Daily Helper v.1.0
-----------------------
Basically what this does is open up any application for you. You can change the directories to anything you prefer.
This will eventually turn into something big, I will be adding so much customizable options on this.
Heres the very first version.
Note: You may know how to do all this, but I did spent a bunch of time making this so please don't flame me. By a bunch of time, I mean 3-4 hrs. But still, thats a lot for me, i'm a really busy man..

You should make an option to rename the buttons.
Not all of use use Firefox or Netscape.

I'll use this. My PC often lags when I'm clicking something I don't use often, so this will help.
Lookin forward to seeing more of it.

I use Opera.
And I have shortcuts on my desktop, so I won't need this.

Looks interesting.
From the screenshot, I suggest adding a way to rename all the buttons. I usually use Firefox and Opera, so I suppose I'll just change the directory for Netscape to opera.
For the Paint button, add a way to change the directory for that, as well. A lot of us might use Paint.NET or Photoshop.
Maybe instead of the "Settings" button, add individual 'edit' buttons next to each button, as shown in the attachment.
Also, an "E-mail" button to open your favourite email program would be nice, such as Mozilla Thunderbird or Outlook Express.
Everything else looks fine. Keep up the good work.

This is in no way related to MapleStory..
General Programming would suit it also.

Yeah I wasn't sure what section to put it in. And stop thinking about MS. Not everything is related to MS. I hate video games... Except Xbox 360 - I'm American lol...

| You should add hotkeys or something. EG. Ctrl + Alt + F = open firefox.

Nice thanks the suggestions. And how did you make that? How'd you make it exactly like my app?
And i'm trying to figure out how to make edit buttons. I will try and make some later. Hopefully by the end of next week I'll have version v.2.0 out.
