Can someone help me i want to make a media player, so im using the windows media player and common dialog, so what do i do so when i press a button called Open it opens common dialog and u select a media file and it plays in WMP on the form

first you need to make it open and filter what you looking for so..
| Code: | CommonDialog1.Filter = ("MP3 Files" (*MP3) |*.MP3")
CommonDialog1.showopen |
So then, we need just to make it, so when we press "Open" this file selected is being interpreted by Windows Media Player control, and played.
So, we put this next.
| Code: | if CommonDialog1.Filename < > "" then 'To avoid nothing
WindowsMediaPlayer1.url = (commondialog1.filename) |
And there you got.

CommonDialog1.Filter = ("MP3 Files" (*MP3) |*.MP3")
CommonDialog1.showopen
The Bolded Points are highlighted mistakes on the code it either says compile error end of statment or invalid character

Sorry, my bad, i did put a " in a wrong place.
Just, put it like..
("MP3 Files (*MP3) |*.MP3")
