Variables? What type? Flash variables?
Do you mean GetVariable?
| Code: |
Text1.Text = ShockwaveFlash1.GetVariable("variable here")

| Use Sothink SWF Decompiler to decompile the SWF, and then look the SWF through.

In other words, you want to make a swf decompiler in vb6? It's gonna take alot of time and the coding it isn't gonna be easy.

Unless you make a full decompiler in VB, the best you are going to be able to do is what AlienX-P said above. Toss that code in a timer with an error handling define at the top of the sub like:
| Code: | Private Sub Timer1_Timer()
On Error Resume Next
Text1.Text = ShockWaveFlash1.GetVariable(Text2.Text)
End Sub |
Next add two text boxes to your project and a timer with an interval of 10 or something under 1second. Then just type things that you think will be a variable in Text2, and when Text1 changes to something then you found one.
