My problem is quite typical actually. I'm in boarding school, the ICT guy is being more of a prick as usual (I wonder if it's because we hacked into the network and screwed it up...) and he's set up DANSGUARDIAN is school. If any of you could tell how to bypass it, I would really appreciate it,because although I would probably manage it by myself eventually, its nice to have people help you Wink
I'm sorry but I can't provide the version being used (again, because I don't know how to look it up, help there would also be appreciated).

i have the same program at my school

to bypass it i simply use a web proxy such as https://www.stupidcensorship.com

or i ping the website and go to its IP.

to do that open up notepad, type command.com
save as wateva.bat
open up and type ping www.myspace.com

the gay thing is you have to do that for each page, so its not recomended, i use it for getting on hotmail because after that it allows to browse normally.

when using a proxy it uses more bandwith than just visiting the site normaly so be carefull, i got banned for using too much at my school.

Yeah, thats what I usually do, although I don't really like to use webs because the connection is already really slow and it takes ages to browse... But I guess at least it works.
I had not actually though about pinging, its quite an idea... If I use it for hotmail, will I be able to download attachments? 'Cause at the moment, to download a file I need to forward it to my school address and then download it from there, which is really pains-taking...
Anyway, thanks for reminding me that pinging exist =] lol.

EDIT: Pinging dosen't work because DANSGUARDIAN's Blankey IP Block is activated... Any solutions?

hmm, i think you'll be able to download attachments... if not you can copy the exact url of the file and run in a proxy.

eg www.hotmail.com/download/attachment/blah.exe

and i dont have any more ideas sorry =[

EDIT:
i dont know if this is patched, but after doing a bit of googling, i found that if you add a "." to the end of the URL it allows it.

eg:
www.myspace.com.

i dont know if it works, but its worth a try.
