I know this is supposed to go in the random spam section, but everyone there lacks sense. Besides, a PS3 is basically a computer. Since its so sexy and all.. I wonder if you could mod it into a computer. Must have a really good processor..
Anyways, Does anyone here play PS3 online?

you can put various linux distros on it.
you can also find it's famed CELL processor in IBM blade series servers.

What does that exactly do. Also, how would I go around to installing it? Just put a copy on a flash drive and connect the flash drive to the USB or burn it on a CD and install it from there?
And what happens if I install it. Would it run like a normal computer?

I guess if you really wanted to mod it into a good computer, I guess you could go and tweak some of the inside components... It's not as hard as you may think it is, as I have already oppened up mine a couple of times without much trouble and no specific knowledge about it.
If, however, you don't want to risk it, then perhaps the best option is to install linux.
