|
|
I recently reformatted my computer [this morning] to Windows XP SP2, a legitimate copy.
I used a corporate key, got all the updated, etc etc, and installed Service Pack 3.
Now I don't have any sound, I plugged my speakers into the back of my computer, and then my headphones into my speakers, to no avail.
I downloaded a supposed fix for the issue, and I have yet to restart my computer and see if it works.
DriverAgent gave me updates for all my drivers except sound, and it said it was outdated for my Operating System, SP3 being on it.
This is quite an irritable problem because I want to play Crysis, among other audio-filled entertainable things.
I also used Driver Magician, which didn't help at all.
So I ask, help please. x,x

Sure thing, hopefully you're using an integrated sound card, or else this won't work.
Download this and run it. Once it gathers information, get a screen shot of the 'Mainboard' tab and put it up here. From there we'll get you some drivers.
