|
|
I was recently using CE on a game on my PC and all of a sudden windows gives me an Error and says the system must restart. After I reboot windows gives me an message box with an error that says this...
| Code: | During a scan fo files at system start up, potential errors in the system registry were found.
P-07-0100irql: if SYSVER OXFF00029 NT_kernal error 1256
KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED |
and later it gives me more that says my system is unstable and now my comp runs really slow. This only started after I used CE 5.4 (for the first time) but is it that or is it me?

check settings->extra.
If kernelmode query memory regions or readprocessmemory is enabled perhaps, but should not happen at a normal scan.
If not, then it just uncovered bad memory on your system, or something else went wrong in your system (e.g harddisk failure, etc...)
And if you where using it on a online game you may ave triggered their anti-cheat system , which in some cases just closes ce, and in other cases completely annihilates your system, depending on which anti-cheat system the game uses

Yeah I think I was messing around on the settings menu but the problem seems to have fixed itself.

Why would they make it so it messes up your system?

Why do music companies mess up your system if they think you're copying their CDs?
