This is a lie, either by you or the dude on the other side. There is no way he was able to delete that folder by pressing "del". You'll get a warning stating that it's a vital part of the operating system and can't be deleted because of it.
You'll need third party software to successfully delete this folder, in which case a blue screen during this process isn't entirely unheard of.

Why would I have 2 clients open and do that?=/
I did tell him to ignore whatever warnings he may get...
