im a real beginner in game hacking and after few simple succes ful hacks (icy tower,MS games etc..) i've tried to hack far cry
finding the adresses was easy but i encountered a problem while trying to find the pointer
for example: when i've found the adress for bullets and freezed it for infinite bullets i looked for the pointer but found none (pointer scanner showed 0 results and 'find out who writes to this adress' shows a value that returns zero results in hex scanning. my friend told me its probobley the pointer actualyl changes very fast and that there is nothing wrong with my scanning. if the pointers are changing then there is must be some adress that points to the pointer wich points to the adress. fi that is the case, how can i find it?

usually pointers are dynamic. that means they only change if you close the program. Thats not true for flash games though. So to see if the pointer is level one, do as little as possible while your scanning for the pointer. If there really is no level one pointer, use the pointer scanner or do that method in step 8 in the CE Tutorial. also in flash games pointers are useless, because the memory will be "moved" when you close the browser. Same thing applies when a program is updated.

Pretty much sums it up, but you wont find a pointer most times on flash. But if you ever did, it would be useless as well.
