Hi i know how to send keystrokes thats pretty easy -.-
but for maple if you send a key in 1 interval maple just ignore it (it is bypassed -.-)
you can just try self just press really fast at the left arrow and you wont move

to the question
how do i send the key in key down instead of key press?

increment the repeat count bit in lParam

hmm you mean put it in a timer and let it send the key ? Oo dosent work it is still keypress you know it have to be keydown for maple (to make the character moving)

I already told you that you cannot use T/D or PM to move your fricken character in MS.
To understand what appal said... go search WM_KEYDOWN @ MSDN.
