Cheat Engine

Once I'm in Rakion I've managed to narrow down some of the addresses to what they are in game, So I've got the Energy (HP) value and I change it, the game registers that change, and I've even frozen it, yet when I switch back into the game it's fine, but after a few seconds (if I do or even DON'T) of anything the game self closes, no error no crash it just shuts off. Any reason for this, or rather what might cause a game close.
