How do I cheat?

Hi
I tried to get through the standard tutorial of Cheat Engine 5.3 .
Actually i stuck at pointers  - Step 6.

Ok all done.

Well, i see 5 * [xxx]

I searched for 0045cc2c and 0c.
Nothing found with 0045cc2c.
For 0c i found a lot of adresses so i took the lowest adress.
But if i add the adress the value of the pointer is "??" and i can't change it.

Please help me, i don't know what i am doing wrong
