|
|
Alright, I need to open this flash with a button. I know it's something like Call Flash1.gotoAndPlay (7) or something.
http://www.ytv.com/sitekick/chipDispenser2_dead.swf?l=&pid=177&hasChip=1
See how u click the green button? It opens.. well how can I make a button in VB6 that will open it?
The movieclip is >
disp (the main mc) > door (the part that flips) > Frame 7 (open stage)
Thanks for your help.. I just need to know how to get into a movieclip with VB6 commands pretty much.
Sincerly,
Dr.Franitc

It's not gotoAndPlay, that's actionscript
Try the target commands (Like T~~~~~)

You can try using GotoFrame such as:
| Code: | ShockwaveFlash1.LoadMovie 0, "http://www.moviesite.com/movie.swf"
ShockwaveFlash1.GotoFrame 7 |
Change the layer in LoadMovie to the needed layer in your player.

Wiccaan > Thanks, I see it loads it. But how would i make it open it. Since I have the MC. MC Lables are disp - door - (Frame 7)
So I want to make it go to frame 7.. not the movie it's self but the door should go to frame 7.
Thank you,
Dr_franitc

From the other topic, not sure if you did it correctly, but try this
| Code: | | shockwaveflash1.TCallFrame("_root.disp.door", 7) |
If that doesn't work, try this
| Code: | | shockwaveflash1.TSetProperty("_root.disp.door", 4, 7) |
If they both don't work, try using /disp.door and that

Yea
It should work, unless you are telling me the wrong movieclip
Have you tried the /_root thingy?
Try a few combinations
Oh wait, try _disp.whatever

Alright.. I am confused.. Can u write the script please?
_root.disp.door? /disp.door? huh??
The MC name? Or the MC Lable?
And instead of frame 7, the frame lable (anchor) is 'open'
Thanks again,
Dr.F

The Syntax error is cause you have ( ) in the line without it using equals. Instead, write it like this:
| Code: | | ShockwaveFlash1.TCallFrame "disp.door", 7 |
I can't tell you for sure what the string needs to be as I don't know what video you are talking about, and I'm not sure if that will even work. (I'm not a flash person.)

What do u mean 'video'?? Hmm. It still doesn't work. I feel that it's reallllly close!
Hmm.. any other ideas?
It seems to not like 'TCallFrame' maybe anotehr command?
Hmm
Thanks though!

Yes you can. Click on err. what now 1 sec.
Click the main movieclip, it's lable is disp. Inside, click the yellow part that rotates, it's called door.
Do u mean lables? Or Movieclip names?
edit* If you mean Movieclip names.. 'disp' is Sprite 108 'door' is Sprite 45
And do u have MSN? It'd probably be easier to do this over MSN.
