Right now, I'm trying to hack Metin 2.

I see that 16256 = 100... (in 2 bytes?)

So, I divided 16256 by 100, and I did that because I'd get the value of 1, which is 162.56.

I figured that if I had 100 gold, i can scan 16256, then I'd drop 99. After that I'd scan 162.56, but then I can't scan any decimals. I get an error saying it's not a valid notation. Can someone help?

are you sure you can't find it with float?

float 1.0 = 00 00 80 3F
16256 = 80 3F

so 100 is actually 1

and 99, could be 0.99 (A4 70 7D 3F), which according to float, would actually be 0.990000009536743

of course, if you got that value from health, then it doesn't mean gold is saved the same way
