Follow this to increase your computers performance rapidly !
Warning:If you do not follow this correctly, you will ruin your system. 
Go to the registry edit via the run command. (Windows key + R---> type in "regedit"). Look for this | Code: | | HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session |
Manager and then look for the key (or folder) named Throttle. If it's not there, right click Session Manager, go new and then Key. Name it Throttle. In there there should be a DWORD called PerfEnablePackageIdle make sure the value = 1. If not, make it say 1. If the key is not there, create it. Right click an area in that box, and go new DWORD.
There we go.. Enjoy.

I just search.
That is to optimize the Cores, and this is FOR INTEL.
1)Download the patched (Windows XP Hotfix Patch: KB896256) In the language you have you OS, In this case is spanish http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=es&FamilyID=c2ab5a48-8240-4934-bbd8-34fb8a0fce3b
2) When the instalation is complete, there will appeir a box where we can select “No Restart Now” You have to choose that.
3) Goto: Start>Run>regedit
4) On the key.. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Throttle (If there are no key called “Throttle” We have to make it, So we right click over the folder “Session Manager” Go to New>Key and we make it.
5) We have to create inside the new key a value DWORD with the name “PerfEnablePackageIdle” Which the value Hexagecimal “1”
6) Have to check too than the boot.ini have the key at the end of the line ” /usepmtimer”, In case it dose'nt have it, you have to make it
and must be like this:

7)Save and reboot and there you got!.
Now, AMD CORE USERS
1)Have to download this patche: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=es&FamilyID=c2ab5a48-8240-4934-bbd8-34fb8a0fce3b (The same link, yea)!
