I've heard that you can compile your SWFs with the exe together, so how do you do that?

when i say include it in the file, i mean just that.

I think that in the properties of the project menu(not window properties) there is a thing that you can include files, this should do it for you. Im not 100% as i dont have vb on here. Im going off memory

there's no "include file" function in vb6 - and im not totally convinced by the "CUSTOM" resource type in the resource manager..

you can try adding a .swf as custom type, but i can guide you no more beyond that, e.g. how the program knows it's there.

iono what means "SWF", and sorry to don't search, but just by reading, i guess you wants to add that thing to you vb.exe file. To do this, as far i remember, you need to use the Package & Develop Wizard, which comes with the Microsoft Package.

swf is the flash file he/she tries to embed into the orignal exe

yeah theres a flash component and he/she already knows - what is trying to be done is that the flash is embedded into the original exe instead of it being seen as a separate file somewhere as .swf.

If it was on the web couldn't you just use Movie URL and Base URL?
