Cheat Engine

Ellow all.

So I got a f*cked up version of CE from a a friend. It had graphic errors , like "Value" was "Valyyy". Buttons were missing text looked ugly and when I set that CE up, it gave me error on my disk_1024.dll . So I deleted it and got the normal CE from the webpage.

I set that up, no error. Now, my problem is the last step, disabling the CEDRIVER. I went to the device manager, right click, then "Block"-ed it. It asked me to reboot. Did it, opened CE, which complained the drivers were not found or not working, and Maple rebooted my PC when I tried running it.

So the question would be what am I doing wrong here?
If it 's allowed or requested I can copy the readme file's instrucitons I followed.
