Hi, I'm new to packet editing...
I want to filter a packet (it means that it won't send the packet, right? Rolling Eyes

) or send another packet instead.
The packets belongs to a pop-up message, 1 I want to filter out and the other I wanna send or make it pop-up instead the other one...
Well, I can't keep sending the packet, I will get errors ofcourse... (I'm a bit expirienced with it...)
Is there a way I can send the 2nd packet insted the one I want to filter out?

By the way, I dunno how to decrypt the packets, but I guessed that you can use the bytes to convert them to op-codes... is that the way to decrypt or I'm not even close? Laughing

P.s. anyone got a good packet editing tut? (Not the one on ce tuts or this section... anything else? Razz

Decryption depends on how the encryption routine works.
And thats the part you got to figure out,

EG:
Hello = 48 65 6C 6C 6F
Hello = 62 7F 86 86 89 encrypted with using +26 in decimal

The way the routine does it is,
Converts 48hex to 72dec +26dec = 98dec converts to 62hex

So instead of the packet having "48 65 6C 6C 6F" for the word hello.
You get "62 7F 86 86 89" because the encryption routine added 26 dec.

Also it can have more then one routine and this formula and it can change also.
