In phantasy star universe, whenever i try to hack my mesetas it changes to what i want, but when i spend some it goes back minus what i spent.
I can freeze the value but it still minuses and goes back to show what i want. Crying or Very sad

sounds like you're changing the wrong value, that one's just "what's displayed", not "what's the amount of currency" is there another value that has the same amount as that one? alternatively, probably they store in encoded. A simple one is used by flash based games :
money is stored as 800, but money appears as 100 to us.
So if you change the 100, it's not gonna do anything.

another common encoding :
Money displays as 100, but money is stored as 0100 in hex. that's 255 in decimal though.

As for PSU, how is the money encoded? no idea. try the other search methods (unknown value), here's hoping it's encoded in a simple enough way as above.

oh and you're playing offline I hope, hacking online...no idea how that works in PSU.

as far as i know, they moved everything over to the server in PSU, unlike the old PSO games.

it's server sided, can't be edited.
