I am confortable hacking values for money, skill points, exp, hitpoints, level etc. I.e. all the basics where I can have a value of say 100, increase or decrease it in game by X and find the value.

I have never managed to find individual items or their stats in RPG style games.

For example, a weapon has the following stats:

Weapon type: Sword
Weapon Damage 10-21
+5 Dexterity
Weapon level: 1
Character Level Requirement: 2

What I would like to do is 1 - copy this weapon (if possible) and 2 - edit the stats of the actual item in memory.

Basically, I don't know how to find inventory/equipped item stats in memory and edit them. What method should I use to find this?
