|

Hey,
When I play games I keep on lagging, that i always need to go to task manager to end the process "explorer.exe", but now i find it annoying to do that, like before launching into any game I need to play...I always go task manager
1) Task Manager
2) Find "Explorer.exe"
3) End Process
4) Ok
I heard there was an easier way, by creating a batch file and putting command lines like this:
@echo off
tskill explorer
But, when I put those command lines in, it works for like 5 seconds, and gets revived....so it wouldn't really help
I need to know the command lines to kill explorer.exe and make it into a batch....
If you do know, please tell me
Thx

| Explorer.exe auto-opens it's self when you terminate it.

| That should work, but you need tskill.exe. I've it attached to this post, copy it to Windows\system32 and test your bat. It comes with some terminal service package or something. It might be included with WXP Pro or an external package, I don't know :P
But, it seems that after tskill explorer reopens automatically, because it's not killed by user. (Some service kills it I guess?) So, go get pskill by sysinternals and use it with your batch file. Google is your friend.
