VB6 has no great features, but the IDE of VB6 has already been known as the least confusing IDE (obvious reasons)
the only IDE which ... gives you an empty form ... whenever you start it up by default ... ready for you to drag a button in saying hello world.
that part cant argue. the lang sucks

The arguement against this is that it's harder to wean someone off of this habbit. So if you consider vb6's IDE to be the easiest one and simple to pick up - you'll have a harder time transitioning to a different IDE. Where if you do the opposite and learn a harder IDE with say.. C++ you can always transition quickly to a "easier" language like vb. Once you know the concrete theories and schemes in a "solid" language you can easily transition to others by usually just learning a new syntax - not a new style.
It's like jumping from algebra to calculus opposed to algebra from calculus.
