depends on ur compiler.

if ur using something like Visual C++ 2005 u double click on the button and it will add the code needed in the button and it will add the function for you..

then u code it do whatever u want.

double clicking on a menu, same thing,

be more specific

pressing a object then going to the properties and switching it events is also another way to create that function/coding
