Well I found an address and it always seems to move. I found a pointer to it but it changes it's location as well. The offset always stays the same but it moves. Example: [explorer.exe being the base address] (explorer.exe+0014a00)'s value + 35C = address. Only thing is the 0014a00 always changes. I need to find out how to find this value either it has a pointer or there is some kind of offset I can't find it. Thanks for any help.
Also when I attach a debugger to the game it exceptions (See what writes to this address). |

Well there are 3 inwhich do this. I'll go check to see that now.
Edit: How would I check if it's a lvl 2 pointer? |

| If the pointer you found is a black address, do find what reads from this address (what writes to this pointer) and then change something and see what opcodes are changed and the probable value of the next pointer. Then on add address manually, there should be an option to add a pointer on top of the current one. |

Yes, that is what I use to find the addresses each time. I actually got some more progress. The offset that changes has a specific one for each map. So if I'm on one map and then go to another the pointer would change, but if I went back to that map the pointer would be the same as it was when I found it.
Anyone? |
