How do I cheat?

| i am currently hacking RO private server as they got no GG. which made hacking easier.. but the problen is that i can't seems to actually hack into it.. i manage to find the address and change the value to what i want and yes it work.. but soon after i did something with it.. it changed back to the old actual value and even though i freeze it still useless.. what should i do.. was it the setting or something else..

try other things - freezing isnt the only way to hack.

RO as in Ragnarök Online? Their GG dont work..even on iRO.
I dont know why thy even have it in the install.
Not much you can do with memory in RO. Botting is the only real cheating going on in RO. Maybe some packets such as spamming skills.

You're not going to get anywhere with that...
If the server you're on has a cp for donation items, mess around with SQL injecting.
If they have a GM login page, brute force GM accounts...
Or just steal the account database tables from the CP [won't work with _M/_F servers].

Actually, there's a lot you can do.
There is no God mode but a lot of other hacks.
Speed hack, instant+auto loot, skills don't use SP, sex change etc.
And then there are hacks that work only for private servers.
Such as making yourself a GM, getting free donation items, etc.

If auto loot,sex change is not implemented in SVN for the private server you are not going to get those to work. And for GM, Your ID has to be added to a completely different cfg file with a certain number behind it for a GM level, So i think thats not possible as well. Memory hacks are not going to do that.
Now if the server has a Custom NPC that allows certain GM command from the NPC to happen for a price or what ever, I can see by passing that and using GM powers because it is allowed to public users through checks.
I have had a couple RO Private servers. It was fun while they lasted.
Just too much of a pain in the ass because people whining about anything and complaining about GM abuse. So they got closed, The best one was OutlawsRo had 2 severs, Desperados "Low Rates" was the one i ran. And a friend of mine Ran the main AntiGravity High Rates server. After knowing how it works i find it hard to believe GM is possible. If you record a packet as a GM, Log in as a normal user and send then packet to the server you recorded as a GM it would Kick/Ban you for trying to impersonate a GM. And that was packeting.
So i will not believe GM can be done until i see first hand.

Actually, you're wrong.
The autoloot+instantloot and sexchange even works on official servers.
The SexChange only lasts until you logout though.

Making yourself a GM is an exploit that works on any Athena and YARE based emulator.
It automatically adds your account to the GM db [or text file if it's a txt server] as a level 99 GM [in other words an Admin].
The best part about the exploit is that if players/gms scan for online GMs in any way other than R-Admin your account will show up as a regular player.
The only way to detect that the player is a GM is either by catching him using GM commands, logging GM commands, or comparing your GM Account file to your account database.
Freya used to have two, the other GM exploit was where you used a stat resetter in combination with a certain class+equip to make yourself a GM.
It has/had the same results as above.
That one is probably fixed by now though.

I've never played a server that has an NPC like that, in either case even if a server has such an NPC it doesn't garuntee it's exploitable.
Well, I've played RO for over 7 years [will be 8 in a few months], been hacking it for 6.
Started playing private servers in 2001 [although only map emulation was possible at first].
And started hosting my own servers in 2002.
Started working on two different emulator projects in 2003.
Shut down my server in 2005 with over 2000 users per server stable.
And during that time I'd still play official servers and other private servers.
Since I've shut down my own server I'd help other servers start up.
Otherwise stuck to playing&&botting on official servers.
Yes, I was/am a total Ragnarok nerd...
And no, I'm not trying to boast, just trying to show that I do infact know quite a bit about RO.
More than most people, and admittedly I'm proud of it.
So I hounestly don't mind if you don't believe me, but saying that you've run a few private servers doesn't really mean anything.
I've met numerous server owners who are very inexperienced when it comes to RO.
And I don't mean to offend you either, if I did so in any way.

You never seen a NPC that can let you have GM commands for a price?
You dont actually get a power, it just is executed for you at that moment.
How about Assassin NPC? Pay to get someone killed? That uses GM commands once you pay. It would spawn Mobs on the players location in game and he would be killed.
eAthena forums i have a NPC that i wrote that will play Battle cards with you using real images of cards, Not those ASCII cards.
Did you ever do any Custom mapping, or moving of models, water etc..I
This is the stuff i was into, Yes im a RO nerd too lol.

Well, then it's going to be a while before you believe it.
Because the RO hacking community is very tight knit, and I don't know of any English ones as of yet.

Isn't that an old NPC?
It uses the actual monster cards [or custom ones if desired].
I think I recall seeing it in a Chinese forum long ago...
And actually, yes.
Way before the English community even had map-editors too.
The English community has always been a few steps behind us...
And custom mapping isn't all that difficult, especially depending on the program you use and how well you're acquainted with it.

Yeah it can be a pain in da rear tho, the tools i used when i was doing it was buggy as hell.
The NPC used regular playing cards 52 cards.
Battle card game, some people called it War.

Last I checked the English map software went downhill shortly after the people critisized his English and he pulled English support.
All the programs I saw after that were extremely buggy.
I see.
It's sort of a maybe for me, since War sounds familiar but I'm unsure...
Well, if it's something posted in the past seven months or so chances are I missed it.
I haven't been keeping up with English emulators as of late.
The only one I recall is a card game that worked much like 遊☆戯☆王[Yu-Gi-Oh] played with RO monster cards or custom card decks.
