| Gas prices have nothing to do with the war. We have enough oil in the US to easily last us for 40 years if not more. The oil companies are gouging prices since they know we have to have it no matter how expensive it is. The fact that they used a tragedy like 9/11 as an excuse to gouge prices is pretty terrible really.

who used 911 as an excuse for high gas prices? see u r full of bullshit! 911 happened because some terrorists flew planes into 2 buildings, the pentagon, and a field because whoever was trying to hit the white house was a dumbass. not because the US government wants to take over the world. and how would they go about taking over the world? before you can just expect me to believe you, explain your bullshit theories. if you cant it just means that you are stupid. |

no, its because you cant explain your theories because they are bullshit. you just believe it because someone told u that it was so and it sounded juicy. and lol gas prices didnt skyrocket directly after 911. just so u know, 911 happened in 2001. gas prices have been under 2 dollars since, i dunno but definitely after 2001 and maybe near the end of 2002, most likely afterwards. gas prices started going higher once iraq stopped selling us oil for the war. now how is war beneficial to the economy again? sorry. pretend i know nothing. now explain to me why the US government would fly a plane into their own building full of their own people as well as people from all over the world. i would like to be enlightened. |

Well sure, if you ignore the fact that there's enough oil in the US to fulfill our needs for 40 years, not to mention other non-hostile nations that still supply us oil. I truly can't see how you fail to see the games the oil companies play. Gas costs more in the summer, more around busy holidays, and fluctuates from day to day even. Do you think oil costs more to refine today than it did a week ago? Granted, there are situations where price fluctuations are acceptable. The further south you go, the cheaper gas is, because most of it is refined there and has less of a distance to travel to it's destination. But I would sure like for you to justify the price fluctuations otherwise.

I already have, but you're apparently too dense to pick up on it. Because they want power, and the only way they can take away our freedoms without a backlash is to create a pseudo-disaster. We've already lost nearly all of our civil liberties thanks to the Patriot Act. Let me put it this way: pretend 9/11 never happened, do you think Americans would have just sat idle while they were stripped of nearly all of their rights? No, they sure as hell wouldn't have. But 9/11 created fear, and people think these bills are for their own safety. For example, the government now has the power to detain you indefinitely for no reason at all, without a warrant or even any suspicion. If you were suddenly arrested and essentially thrown in prison for the rest of your life, having done nothing wrong, would you defend such bills?
Let me ask you this, why did the "plane" that hit the pentagon make a circular hole? Am I missing something, don't planes have wings? How did this "plane" fly just a few feet off the ground, across the entire field in front of the pentagon? Surely no pilot can accomplish that, especially not a novice just recently trained. Then explain to me why over 20 eye witnesses said they saw a missile fly across the field. As soon as this happened, the government seized all the tapes from security cameras nearby. Don't you see all of these things, and not put the pieces together?
I'm still waiting for a response as to why you think controlled demolitions happen with the people still in the building, within hours of a "terrorist attack." Don't you find it kind of funny that an owner of a building would say "Hey, I just witnessed a national tragedy, I feel like telling a demolition crew to destroy one of the buildings I own, with the employees still inside. Oh sweet, there just happens to be explosives already planted in it"
I mean, in some videos of the towers falling you can even SEE the explosives in the windows. The building falls clean to the ground, just as it would in a controlled demolition. That doesn't raise any suspicion to you? The government was warned for weeks that this was going to happen, yet nothing was done? How about the fact that even as this was all happening, Cheney had conveniently taken over defense just about two weeks before, and told the operators in charge to stand down as this all took place. You find nothing wrong with that?
Not to mention, I watched a documentary back before 9/11 happened, and I distinctly recall them saying the towers were specifically designed to take the impact of even the largest commercial airliner, yet neither of them did. What happened with that?
I truly can't believe that there's still people that believe 9/11 really happened the way the media reported it to us all.
