How do I cheat?

When I first installed cheat engine it installed normally but I didn't set it up after I got steam it was uninstalled and when I tried to install it again I got an error message it says this
d3l9r5lew7psag.cloudfront.net unexpectedly closed the connection.
Does anyone know how to fix this please?

| It may have a problem with the PC I run as it has some broken pieces (like 2 or sum) and it works fine but when downloading anything other than cheat engine it works (i don't know how to contact IT as I'm not that good with computers) and I uninstalled steam I will try installing later

Hello, i just download Ce v7.5, but no work, my las version was 6.6 and yes run well.
After download the dll (api-ms-win-downlevel-kernel32-12-1-0.dll) put in system32 and syswow64, now get other eror, still cant used the ce why?
Ty in advance.
Note: I install version 7.4, and no have problem or error, i will try 7.5 when error be fixed. thanks.

delete dbghelp from the win32 and win64 subfolders in the ce install folder

Are you comfortable building from source?
If not, it is made very easy for this project and may help get your feet wet.
I can't post links yet- so search "Cheat Engine Github".
If you build it your self, I wonder if the error still comes up.

| pour moi.. j'installe la version 7.4 du jeux, et je n'ai aucun problème ni erreur, j'essaierai la version 7.5 lorsque l'erreur sera corrigée

Hey there,
Building from source can be a great way to get more familiar with the project and see if the eror stil persists. For project, it's made prety straightforward, so it a good opportunity to get your feet wet with compiling code. search for "Cheat Engine Github" to find the repository. If you build it yourself and the error still occurs, it could help narrow down the issue.
