Since i've gotten older, i have lost the like towards cartoons. But if i had to choose which ones are or WERE my favorites. It is family guy, and american dad. I like those because of the very nice crude humor.
I used to like spongebob, until about a year or so ago. The only part in any spongebob episode that makes me laugh is:
Patrick: "Liar liar pants for hire" (or whatever)
Spongebob: "It's liar liar pants on fire, patrick"
Patrick: "You would know, liar."
For some reason, i find that hell of funny.

family guy and american dad are funny because they are satirical.

I used to love watching Tom and Jerry with my grampa because there are no words on the show. My grampa only speaks Romanian, so he wouldn't be able to understand it.

But, I liked Powerpuff Girls. I still watch it from time to time when I catch airing in Cartoon Network. Lol I hate Powerpuff Girls Z, though.
