My mother swears our old house was haunted, and on occasion she saw a figure of the old owner.
I've never experienced anything supernatural, but most of my family likes to claim they have at one point or another.

I met a ghost once.
He laughed at my yo momma jokes.
We chilled. I only realized he was a ghost when he couldn't pick up the beercan off the table.
Then he tried lying.
I lol'd and called him a faggot.
He got all mad and left.

Seriously I did not fell asleep and I did saw what I saw.
Speaking of the people from the "other side", I've heard this from somewhere that if a person dies from a certain traumatic event, that particular time in life will be played back over and over again like a recorded video clip. The spirit will not see it, but the living person who happens to be at that area at the time it happen then they might see the footage.

Is your tv perhaps a Panasonic?
My tv turns on on it's own too, and i still don't believe in ghosts.
I believe that there is a logical explanation for everything, and that it's just coincidence that it turns on when i enter the room..
Sometimes, i wake up in the middle of the night (well, sometimes in the middle of the day too),
When that happens, i can't move, and see ghost-like creatures.
I once saw a skeleton in white bridal clothes lying next to me.
I almost started to believe in ghosts (again), but then i looked it up on wikipedia and turns out i suffer from sleep paralysis...

| That is a very good way to think of it because think of walking on a bright sunny day with all of your friends down at the park (i know it sounds wierd) and think of just watching one of the scariest movies ever and then having to walk through the forest at midnight, thinking you saw ghosts. If ghosts were real, they would be out all the time and it is just your imagination playing tricks on you.

I remember this one about a car chase with the cops. When they came up to a dead end (a fence or something) the car went straight through it without damaging it, and escaped. It's really hard to say whether the supernatural is real or not.
