You shouldn't be asking about social problems on the internet. Most people here have the same problem as you, so of course they'll agree with you.
My recommendation is to loosen up and stop being so uptight. That's the reason why you only have probably 3-5 friends.

Unfortunately, my parents are forcing me to socialize. They're like, "Well can you socialize very well?" I just lie, "Yes, I have some friends." And they had some way with words later on, and I had to admit that i thought of my peers as "immature". I tried to solve this problem myself, but looks like my parents are going to solve it... again. It's not that they're going to take away my comp. priviledges (Thank god), but they tell me to adapt to the retardedness of the students.

I also said to my parents that all they do are:
Have useless/bashing discussions. What i mean by bashing is by targeting one person and insulting him/her.

Also, i told them what people do at lunch are only a game of stealing cookies and chips and fries, which is true, and they eventually get mad, and then calm down, and then start their useless discussions again.


My mom says, "Oh, that's why you cannot fit into the other kids." My dad says, "His math teacher told me that his IQ was a very higher level thinking." And mom said, "And if they have bashing discussions, just nod and don't say anything." She says again, "It's okay to just fool around". And I'm like... Ugh... I hate my peers, i hate my environment, and worst of all, i hate my feelings. I guess my intellegence is a curse for this situation, and I will try to... gulp... gulp... almost faint... adapt to... their... immaturity... a... n... d... retardedness.

That's it, this is my final saying, I really don't like this plan, but I might like it later on.

I read through the topic and noticed a couple of things that stuck out. First you kept saying perverted friends. Most kids your age and all through high school are perverted and it's completely normal. Not going to get into that. Second you say your in the 8th grade and you'll wait until college to make friends. I don't think that would work at all. If your have a social problem in middle school, high school won't be any better. It might even be worse. It depends on where you live, if your high school will be big or small, if your will the same people. It can go both ways but try and loosen up and puts yourself out there for a friendship. If you want friends put yourself out there and communicate with your piers. A friendship is not a one way street. If they give it their all and you give nothing back then you'll end up with nothing.
You dad just wants whats best for you. He doesn't like seeing his only boy come home and work his ass off and then not go out. He wants you to have balance in your life between school and friends. Go out on a Friday night and have a good time.

Your just smarter than everyone else and able to perceive things better than most people your age. Im like that. Bear it a grit your teeth at school, but have intelligent discussion with adults whenever you can. It really helps!
