Thats possible. (my idea, save it as: cheattable.ct.m01, cheattable.ct.m02, ....)
But what about intro's and the main menu ? Often the memory for the gameplay hasn't been reserved at those points yet. (Or is that no problem with the games/programs you're trying this on?)
Anyhow, I've put it in.

The memory I usually store has something to do actual gameplay, some where in the middle, so I frequently stay away from load points, game over etc. Takes a while to perfect this however, and it will freeze the game if used inappropriately.
Another thing I would like to have is the ability to save ALL READABLE memory for a program and simply load to replace anything that might change. This may serve as a restore process if it works. (It has worked before) However the addresses for the readable memory might not stay the same for some programs. Im asking for this simply because it is tedious to edit memory by a block of readable memory at a time. And yes I know its dangerous.

packet editor:
You want a proxy packet editor (one that connects to cheat engine and cheat engine connects to the server)
Or a hook on winsock?

I was thinking about both actually, i have a network and everything, so I would have use of them.
What exactly do you do with the network version of CE, sending small packets fast or big ones slow?
And is the server really neccessary?
(im trying to hack into my xbox)

An xbox can only run one threat at once if you're using XBEs and not an OS. As for the OSes as far as i know only Linux ones are supported properly (okay you can use others with bochs but that isn't good at all). Linux is not supported by CE...(well at least you can run the client of the server edition with wine)
edit: the second threat is necessary for the server...and it cannot run without a server. After all you can't just edit anybody's ram as you wish now can you? The server is necessary, it provides you a "back door" to your system. Without it there is no access unless you use exploits...and really hack into it.

I was hoping for a more exclusive server, one you can open with IP on main computer.
What if I sent you a program that automatically "retrieves" Xbox info etc,
and based on that I can edit it.
Example: GameSpy Tunnel

| Well then how about thinking about "how" it retrieves the info? The XBox is sending the requested information, nothing more. The XBox will not accept any commands for editing Ram....such a feature like editing ram...how could the xbox know how to handle it? And oh yeah unless your main computer has special permissions on the XBox (but it doesn't), then it is just like any other computer. And like i said you cannot just edit anybody's ram. If you wanna cheat buy an action replay or download a trainer. Or explain how you're going to make the XBox handle ram edit request. And then it's no feature for Cheat Engine btw cuz you'd have to know your own protocol for that.

You could always mod you xbox so you have access to it. (like evolution wich opens a telnet and ftp (don't ask, I just heard it))
xbox packet editing isn't possible with cheat engine unless I write a network device driver (and have ce run on the computer with internet sharing), and that's someting I don't know how to do (yet). That is because the xbox propably doesn't allow you to specify the ip to connect to (e.g ip of computer cheat engine is running) having the xbox connect to cheat engine, and cheat engine to xbox live propably won't work.

I was hoping you had some knowledge about that, but I'll find a way to get in.
By the way, did you get that Chess program I sent you?

Well you can access the xbox using evolutionX or other dashboards...but as soon as a game is launched there is absolutely no access to it. Why? Because the xbox can only have 1 program running at a time. It can't have a cheat engine server and a game running at the same time...no multi processes, this is solid information I've asked other people who know a lot about xboxes to confirm so i'm sure about that.
And I'd say packet editing isn't something CE is there for...i mean..c'mon there are a lot of packet editers out there.
And Dark byte if you mean weather you can select the gateway ip to the internet...yes you can change that. Of course you can forward xbox live with a computer and edit the packets...but that's only for live (of course).
And as for live...you cannot access live with a modded box so...you cannot use anything other than the packet editing method anyways.
