Added find&replace into the script editor, supports plain,extended,and Lua pattern matching modes, added hotkeys as well.
Updated main post with the new updated script.
Can post the find&replace script as an extension for Lua Script and AutoAssembler windows (if someone requests me to..)

I put the ce_script_editor.lua (latest version) file in the autorun folder and get the following message whenever I start CE:

ce_script_editor.lua
error: ...autorun\ce_script_editor....:
attempt to call a nil value (global 'cheatEngineIs64Bit')

I can't find anything related to this exact error anywhere. Question

I tried it with every different every CE.exe variant (.exe/i386.exe/x86_64.exe/x86_64-SSE4-AVX2.exe) btw.

when loading Cheat Engine 7.4\autorun\ce_script_editor.lua:1811: attempt to index a nil value (global 'views')
EDIT:

Hi everyone,
I was inactive for some quite due to unfortunate luck.
I have been diagnosed with NORSE (Disease - if someone wants to look it up);
And been in comma for 3 month.
I've been hospitalized since Jan 2022 until end of septmeber and currently getting a degree.

I had a long recovery (still going on) from blindless to walking and reading etc. in short have been reborn let's say it like that.

I read some of your messages, specifically the two before this one, but it seems that works just fine, with one tiny bug that I have noticed is that CTRL+F throws error but the magnific works just fine (declared the local variable after declaring the function that uses it..), besides that did not noticed anything problematic.

My memory is bit sluggish at the moment, and will try to implement the what I have planned to, in the next few weeks/months.

I have noticed many changes to CE and additions.
Did not notice any new other bugs from the quick test, please post if you have noticed.

I swung by to express my glee about your profile pic that makes me cry-laugh every time I see it and to thank you for the useful script.

I'm surprised to see what you've been going through. From what I've looked up, that looks rough.
I'm wishing you a smooth and successful rehabilitation process.
