phew, good to hear. so, with that out of the way, how to get the "same" thing with methods (~ component specific)...

I will 'close' this part for myself now, as I got already a lot to take with me. As stated earlier, plan to (gradually) lay this out in a spreadsheet (common vs specific). when done, will update post here.

ps: did the test with lua form earlier on. and as I expected, pre- and post-resizing of its window gave me the updated prop_values.
(and ps: so did pretty much every 'userdata' entry ?! ~ will look into this (much) later)
