id never thought stealing from school and in mall would be different
i thought getting it from school was just, whatever, they wont do anything to us but return the item back to the owner.
but i thought it wrong.
its 100% same as from stealing from anywhere!
ive learned my lesson.
i hope its not 6months of jail. i really cant take that. i really want to have a peaceful life now. im full with stress , i really want to die right now.
i rather have probabation+community service than JAIL...D:

This is what you should say to the police or judge and maybe you will get a lighter sentence.

I hope you are not in a minority (i'm not saying this in a racist way or anything) because if you get a biased judge... you are fucked.
Also, if you do happen to get jail time, they may let you out for good behavior...
Also, if you get jail time, it will most likely be REAL prison, Not juvi.

I don't think they would let you have a baist judge in the court room. My mom went to court to try out for jury dute 5 mines and get rejected 4 times because the case was with a black man and her racist personality might affect her judgement.

when i go to the informal hearing i will say that, or if i go to the judge right away, ill say that too.
i dont think it matters, because urent suppose to STEAL at all.

yeah thanks, i made my 2009 new years plan to become a better person, but i guess this is the time when i will become a better person.
also what is the difference between a JURY and a JUDGE?
what will I face? JUDGE or JURY? if it goes to a next step.

Well, i am not 100 percent familiar... but i think you may be able to choose whether you want a jury of your peers (people in the community) to find you guilty or not guilty... or a judge.
Jury = a bunch of people
Judge = 1 government official

You're only sixteen, and you could possibly face time in jail. You still have a life ahead of you.
If you face jail time or not, think about what could happen if you do this again.

yeah, i have a future right now. im doing well in school and stuff, but because of this maybe i cant even get into a college that i want to get in now. i also dont want to lose my talent i have(bboy).
thanks guys for helping me out what will happen to me or not.
i really want to get through this fast.
