Lol, philosophy and psychology is interesting, but you can't get a job on that.
I really want to use psychology to hypnotise people's minds, but that is just another philosophy of my life.

I dont think you should have gotten grounded, but you shouldnt have rejected the food so fast.

True, sometime my mother's dishes tasted bland, but I don't say it as it will hurt her feelings for she spend so much time doing it. |

Well if you had tried it out and told your mom the reason why you didn't like her food, then you could have had avoided the grounding or had a less severe one. |

I thought grounding is pretty less enough. In the old days kids don't eat gets beaten with a belt. |

I used to get beaten with a belt.
But yeah, just say, "Hey mom, i'm sorry, but i wasn't expecting there to be hot sauce on the chicken. No offense, but the hot sauce made me lose my appetite. It's not that it's not delicious, because it is, it's just that i wasn't expecting it."

Well for a fact AZN parents are stricter then lets say white or black or what ever race parents. Thats what i think so don't flame me.
I am also AZN and yes my mom also does this. Its unfair.

Yeah, that's what I think as well.
If you're actually going to be plain out rude and get mad at your mom, you'd be better off bringing it to your room, closing the door, putting it all in a ziplock bag, and then put it in your backpack to throw it away later so your mom believes you ate it.
I actually don't do that since I'd rather have my parents feel appreciated for what they've done because their lives basically became hell when us kids were brought into their world. Most people say they want to have a child, but actually don't know how difficult it is because they don't realize that they're actually commiting themselves to something with a huge responsibility since raising a child isn't like raising a dog or any other pet- you can give your pet a food and maybe play with it for 30 minutes~ an hour, but for a child, you have to love it and spend hours and hours to satisfy it. I know that I'll most likely never be a good parent- no matter how I try. I believe this since I know that their childhood will be screwed over because of me and the way that I talk. Heck, 80% of the things I say to others are verbal attacks.

if something is up with what my parents are doing (or generally anyone), i let them know. why leave people in the dark, when they can correct, or better themselves.
who really isn't conformable talking to their parents?
maybe i am blessed with an amazing family? |
