| Out of the three Jui Jitsu is the best... Karate is overexaggerated and not at all the best... But out of other martial arts Tai Kwon Do is the best in my opinion.......

Boxing: Hard style
Jiu-Jitsu: soft style
I'm not sure what Karate is.
Hard style fighting is basically exchanging punches, where the match is even until someone wears down or is too fucked up to fight.
Soft style fighting is putting yourself into a superior position so you would take as little hits as possible, usually by using your opponent's body weight.
I'd say hard if you're bigger than the average guy, or soft is your smaller/average. So, if you were 200 pounds, you should probably go for hard style whilst if you were ~100 pounds you should go for soft style. | naahhhh
see jiu jitsu can take down an opponent just by one step in and tilting his center of gravity and he's down.... :O (street due to concrete)
Boxing hard yea but i mean it takes more than a 3 hits to knock someone out....

| Well, wrestling is based a bit more on leverage, but you're sure to take a few hits if you wrestle. Martial Arts is a way that puts you in a position in which you do not take as many hits as the opponent. In my opinion, any martial art is strategical, and works for nearly anyone in a fight.

Your calling me a fucktard? LOL! Ok, first of all, I will fuck you up, whether you know jui ji w.e the fuck you call it or karate. Boxing is actually something decent. A fist fight or brass knuckle fight is wayy more fun and it actually shows your manlyness (oh wait, I'm sorry, you don't have any.) | Oh fuck you are so hardcore. Too bad I chose to get a gun rather than fight with fists. I truly regret it.
Sorry, did my bullet just break your face? My bad.

You have obviously never used a gun before and by the looks of it, you wouldn't know how to use one properly.

I do Tae Kwon Do among others (not that Olympic crap) and it is extremely good.
You have to make sure you don't take one style and say that it is the best out of all the styles. Different people are better than other people, not styles over styles. Except for Aikido. It sucks.
I recommend you take Tae Kwon Do (which some may call American Karate or American Tae Kwon Do) and NOT Olympic Tae Kwon Do. If you learn Olympic style, you will learn how to kick people in the head. There is no hand techniques in Olympic TKD. You stand 6 inches from each other and try to kick the other person in the head. That is it. In a real fight, you would raise your leg to kick someone in the head and the guy would just smack you in the groin and procede to beat the crap out of you.
While American TKD does practice high kicks, they do it for a different reason: if you can kick someone in the head hard enough to knock them out, think of how hard you could kick them in the groin, thigh or knee? A solid kick to the knee and the fight is over. Same goes for groin obviously.
Real fights do not happen where two people square off and trade blows until someone gives up like the John Wayne movies. Usually people will sucker punch you, or rush and grab you. That is why you shouldn't learn only one style. I know TKD, Boxing Judo, Ju Jutsu, and Hapkido, which is the distance fighting and the grappling/throwing.
Judo just rocks because you get to slam people in their faces with little effort. You can say, "Let me show you some Judo". Judo ironically means "Gentle Art".
Boxing will teach you most of your stand up hand fighting, and also how to put a lot of power into your techniques. Don't leave home without it.
JuJutsu is close up/ground fighting for when you get taken down.
Hapkido is just plain evil. I love it.
So don't be a just a "karate-ka" or just a "jujutsu-ka" (ka = practitioner). To be a complete Martial Artist you have to learn many styles. Also, study anatomy and physiology in school. You will learn the weaknesses and strengths of the human body, which is vitally important.
Although, guns > martial arts.

... martial arts isn't only about revenge / self defense. Some people like use it as self-discipline and for fitness. Anyways, I totally agree that martial arts = better than fucking slugging people. Strategy is always superior to brainless bashing. Every form has its ups and downs. I'm assuming you aren't going to be going into proffesional fighting, so pick one and stick with it.
@Acquited: It's not hard to use a gun. Any idiot could learn how to use one. Lessen up on the bullshit, verbal warning.
