| Nothing stays on your (real-life) permanent record --not school's-- from school unless you assault a teacher or another student. Or something crazy. (And the former against a student only stays after a year if they sue, I believe.) You really didn't do anything.

| Psh. I've been suspended for 8 days. Straight.. Anyways, I think when you get about 18 suspensions, you get expelled. (well you do in Aus.)

Not true? People get expelled usually for weapons and sending people to hospital.

I've seen a Russian guy at my school been suspended 6 times in November only turning up for 5 days out of 30. Also, another guy once set alight a whole school a few suburbs away from my house back in 1997 and got sent to jail and expelled from all schools in the state.
@benlue: which state does that apply to in Aus?

| New South Wales, not sure if it has changed though. But i'm sure someone can clarify that, though only serious injuries will get you expelled.

Meh, I live there.
At my high school, the following can get you expulsion:
*Repeated Suspensions
*Truanting
*Causing mass or greivous bodily harm
*Carrying flammable objects (or combos)
*Carrying weapons
*Killing someone (maybe juvenile detention, jail)
I'm pretty sure there's way more than that.

K, but also, if I ever get suspended for fighting (because our Ass. Prin. is
an ass) and it repeates all over like 10 or more times will it start going on
my record. Im worried.
