Any Fratire'd genre book
Other than that, reading books is pretty gay.
The least books can do is stop printing. Everyone should get a Kindle. |
So your suggesting that we get rid of some of our best education?
If you like 'movies' and you actually understand what you are reading it is basicly like watching a movie made out of it but instead of the worthless crap they almost always come out to be, and you can actually mess around with it and make it into your own little fantasy world. Also you can read to get off the idea of your troubles like it's another world.

'Everyone should get a Kindle.' This includes school. It'll be much more eco-friendly and cost-efficient than printing some raggedy ass books. Unlike a kindle it'll only be able to hold a set amount of books at any one time and be locked at the end of semesters through an app preloaded in each one.
Do some googling.
I'll do it for you, since you didn't bother to check out what a 'Kindle' was before replying.

As far as books are concered, I don't like reading. Most books I see now are either things like the 'Death of America', political stories like the former, and shit for women. If I want knowledge, I'll read it up on the internet. I'll only go to the movies if it has someone like Jason Statham in it, because then I know it'll be badass. Otherwise, I can expect faggotry to a degree so high that becoming an hero might be a reasonable option.
I understand what you mean by 'my own fantasy world', and I might enjoy picking up a book sometime... if it wasn't all laoded with idealistic garbage, whatever it may be. |
Actually I do know what a Kindle is and that Sony has something very similar, but not everyone has the money for them and lets see if they wanted to use them in shool then lets see... an average of atleast 15 kids per class, the Kidnle is $360 from their site... 15x360=5400 hmmm that means they would spend about $5400 per class just for the kindle without tax oh and you have to buy the books for it... The Kindle is more meant for people that enjoy reading and I doubt they will be implemented as standard 'books' in schools.

I've always liked reading Stephen King books, and Anne rice.
I guess I'm into horror/thriller novels.

Technology will get cheaper. Books will be used to keep fireplaces lit.
In 5~7 years tops that sort of technology will be all over the place, I figure. Or else, something of the like. Doesn't have to be as full featured as a Kindle [it has too many features not relevant to school]. Just a standard E-Reader. By that time I'd imagine making an e-reader, with a very small range of features, should be very cheap.
