I think only superheroes do tremendous acts of badassness, soldiers are excluded. Yeah I don't care that no one gives a fuck about my parents of what they do because to me they are my heroes.

Not trying to be rude or offensive here, but just because their careers involves risks they are a hero? Joining the army is perhaps heroic, but once they are soldiers, it is their jobs and their job is not to be a hero. Do you think people that were building skyscrapers decades ago without any real protecting were heroes? Because hey if it weren't for them, a lot of those building wouldn't of been around.
