I dont believe they are hacking anyone, they are only monitoring packets with P2P activity. Then not allowing seeding of torrents.
Basically is helping with copy write material being shared and Spamming and other crap/ bandwidth usage is monitored at one aspect. They will throttle down your connection speed as well for such things.
You could even get a call from them to tell you to stop the activity. I do know for a fact they will call of send a letter saying to cease the activity.
Also another thing that could be going on that we are not seeing, is the government could allow this, so as to filter for certain criteria involving home land security.
Who knows, but you see right now it is going to end in court because people look at it as invasion of privacy. And they have a good argument as well, since numerous personal and financial information is passed back a forth across you ISP. If they allow this to happen, that is a huge security issue with the public.

Labyrnth, you're perpetuating misleading information. If someone asks "is packet editing illegal", do you think they know how to hack into a server? I'm sure anyone that can gain access to another computer knows exactly how legal or illegal it is.

There not affecting seeding... there affecting download speed and there;s no point because it doesnt even help them catch you downloading illegal stuff. People do it and get caught, because they were to stupid and seed it for years.....

To program a computer in a clever, virtuosic, and wizardly manner.
There cleverly affecting your downloads on the torrents and getting away with it.... magically your downloads go from high speed to LOW speed.
Wether or not... packet editing is a form of hacking and yes there doing it. It doesnt matetr if it's doing good but it's doing bad to somone who's being good which is also hacking.

I guess i'll do that way, do packet editing it by buying low and then selling it alittle bit high from and to the NPC....I guess what comes to it is just do it but dont over do it....

I dont think you will be successful in that.
There are other things to do, like trading exploits and such as well if you find any.
