|
|
Hi guys, I have a problem with my USB key. I plugged it in my computer and I got some old files in it and I wanted to delete them but when I press the delete key, nothing is happening. Also when I wanted to move a new file into my USB it shows something.
Image:
This is what happens when I try to move a new file into the usb.
Please help. Thank you.

Copy everything to a folder on your computer, format the drive, and copy everything back over.

So you're saying if I do this, it will get all the files off my USB?

K I'm confused. When I try to remove the files into another folder, it makes a copy and the same files are still in the USB.

format the drive anyway?
What do you expect, when was the last time moving a file from a usb to another folder deleted the file off the usb?
And if you still don't get it, give up and buy another usb...

For fuck's sake.
Copy the files onto your desktop. Go to school. Ask a teacher for a usb. Take two instead of one. Give one back. Take one home. Move files from desktop to usb.
You have stick arena trainers on your usb for fuck's sake. How important could it be?

Is their a physical switch on your USB? If so, try switching it and see if it helps
also
Click > Start > RUN > type "CMD" Then
Type "CHKDSK" and type your usb drive and "/F". Ex. chkdsk Q: /F > Enter
then take usb out and back again and see if you can format it

Ok look, before you ask us how to do this, try figure it out for your self first.
Google the manual for the brand and model of your usb. Then it will tell you how to reformat it.

*sigh* I already did use google, but i actually found the problem, there was a really small switch which made the files stay there and could not be deleted.
