I'll allow it since I'm curious, as long as no links are posted to warez

So you want to use the Mac OS? How silly! Why not just use *BSD?

you have to pretty much just try running the setup and seeing if it works. it didn't work for my laptop, and for some people with the same model it did, it gave a stupid error before setup. on one of the desktops, though, it worked without any problems.

I've gotten it to install on both a P4 2.6ghz with 1gb ram and a new Core 2 e8400 with 8gb ram.
If it's your first time, try something pre-packages like iAtkos or kalyway, and then its just a matter of getting the configuration right.
iAtkos should run on any intel x86 or x86-64 processor.

iAtkos is more stable and has the latest version.
You could try iPC too, larger and includes more drivers.

Install it on a different HDD or split your HDD into two partitions and put osx on one of them and your other os on the other one. Then when you boot, a menu should come up which gives you a choice on which OS to boot, however if this doesn't pop up, google on how to dual boot osx. There should be a way to modify your boot configuration allowing you to select which OS to boot from when you start up your PC.
I personally use Paragon HD Manager 2009 to manage my partitions but if you don't feel like paying, you can always use a LiveCD of GParted, great tool also.
Also, I think there's a partitioning tool inside windows if you're using vista if I'm not mistaken. I use XP so I can't really verify that

Thanks I hope my mom lets me. I am trying to make cydia apps. My dad is for it and my mom is against it. She actually thinks I will "brick" it like a iphone can get bricked...

Well just remember to back up their personal & important files just in case you do find a way to screw up your current partition.
If you don't know what to back up, ask them.
